Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Nairobi to the rugged beauty of Samburu, where dramatic lava plains and a meandering river set the stage for encounters with elephants, leopards, reticulated giraffes, and rare northern species. After an exciting afternoon game drive on Day 1, you’ll spend Day 2 immersed in full-day game viewing in Samburu—with options to tailor your experience, including a leisurely morning drive, an extended picnic excursion, or even a magical bush dinner under the stars.
On Day 3, travel to the renowned Ol’ Pejeta Conservancy, home to an impressive sanctuary of black rhinos, critically endangered northern white rhinos, and a variety of other iconic species, along with a heartwarming chimp sanctuary. An afternoon game drive allows you to explore this conservation success story. Next, on Day 4, journey to the picturesque Lake Naivasha in the Rift Valley. Enjoy a boat safari amidst hippos and flamingos and a guided walking safari on Crescent Island—a location famous from the film Out of Africa—before heading out on another afternoon game drive.
The adventure continues on Day 5 as you head to the world-famous Masai Mara, celebrated for its annual migration and breathtaking landscapes. After a relaxing lunch post-drive, enjoy an afternoon game drive in one of Africa’s premier wildlife reserves. Day 6 offers a full day dedicated to exploring the Mara, with flexible options including early morning and late afternoon drives, an all-day picnic, an optional bush dinner, visits to a traditional Maasai Manyatta, or even a thrilling hot air balloon ride over the savannah.
Concluding your safari on Day 7, you will journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon with memories of an extraordinary wildlife experience to last a lifetime.

Tour Plan
Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu
Start your safari with a pick up at 7:00 AM from your Nairobi hotel or Airport and drive to Samburu. Drive past the densely populated central province. Cross the equator at Nanyuki, drive by the western side of Mt. Kenya,then down to Isiolo. Samburu is an area of semi-arid savannah in the north of the meandering Ewaso Nyiro or `Brown' river. It is part of a lava plain that includes a varied landscape of red dirt, thorn scrub, broken volcanic rock, dried river beds, steep hills, and rocky outcroppings, some large enough to be called mesas. Following the river curves, a riverine forest of doum palms, acacia, and tamarind is a magical contrast of cool green. A tour to a nearby Samburu homestead as an extra activity is highly recommended.
Samburu has arid environment home to variety of north kenya specials both birds and mammals can be
spotted easily to be seen are herds of elephants, leopards, beisa oryx, Somalia Ostrich,lesser kudu, reticulated giraffe, gravy´s zebra and gerenuk defassa waterbuck . Arrive in Samburu in the afternoon and check in to your lodge/camps, enjoy a hot meal for lunch and rest at your leisure.
DAY 2: Samburu Full Day Game Drive.
This day is solely reserved for game viewing, with a flexible schedule plan. You can discuss with your Guide and plan either option 1 or 2.
Option 1: - 06:00hrs: - After a leisurely breakfast at your lodge/camp, depart for the morning game drive.
09:00hrs: – Return to the lodge for breakfast and rest in the morning at leisure, at your convenient time have lunch and then rest in the afternoon at leisure.
16:00hrs:– Depart on an afternoon game drive.
18:30hrs: – Return to lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.
Option 2 – Picnic: you can exit the Lodge/camp for an optional whole day Game drive with picnic lunch to return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the Lodge/camp.
Alternatively, you can have an optional bush dinner in the wild under the African sky
Day 3: Samburu - Ol` Pejeta Conservancy
After a sumptuous breakfast drive towards Ol’ Pejeta Conservancy, it is the largest sanctuary in East and central Africa with a massive population of 140 black rhinos. Black rhinos are critically endangered since 1993.
Back then, there were only a few left worldwide. In Ol’ Pejeta, their number grew steadily from 20 in 1995 to a population of 140 today. Besides, it’s also home to the last two remaining northern white rhinos in the worldand 39 southern white rhinos. Ol’ Pejeta also hosts a sanctuary for abused chimps, and in the park itself youcan spot the Big Five and many more animals.
16:00hrs: - Depart for an afternoon game drive.
18:30hrs: - Return to the Lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Ol `Pejeta Conservancy – Naivasha
After breakfast drive towards Lake Naivasha It is the highest fresh water Lake and its lies in the Kenyan Rift Valley at 1,884 meters above sea level, it is about 139 square kilometres large freshwater lake. Nestled in between swamps, forests and rock formations, Lake Naivasha is the perfect place for an amazing boat safari in between groups of hippos and flamingos! On the shores, you might see zebras, wildebeests and giraffes. After that, you experience walking amongst them as you take a guided walking safari on Crescent Island (the ‘hidden gem of Naivasha’) in the middle of the lake.
It is a truly atmospheric place, where you might find some familiar settings as it was the primary filming location for the 1985 romantic drama Out of Africa. Arriving in time for Lunch enjoy a hot meal and rest.

18:30hrs: - Return to the Lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Naivasha - Masai Mara
After breakfast you will drive to Masai Mara. It is the most famous game reserve in Africa. It is an extension of the Serengeti Plains in Tanzania, and offers the best game viewing in Kenya. Masai Mara is most famous for its spectacular annual migration of over a million wildebeest, gazelle, antelope and zebra placidly graze, giraffe elephants etc migrates from Serengeti in Northern crossing the Mara River into Kenya in search of green pastures. This exciting spectacle usually occurs between July and October. During this crossing, hundreds of animals are swept away by the first moving Mara River and others are killed by the ferocious African Crocodiles, “this is survive of the fittest. Arrive in time for lunch, enjoy a hot meal and relax from drive.

18:30hrs: - Return to the Lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Masai Mara Full Day Game Drive
This day is solely reserved for game viewing, with a flexible schedule plan. You can discuss with your Guide and plan several options.
Option 1: - 06:00hrs: - After a leisurely breakfast at your lodge/camp, depart for the morning game drive.
09:00hrs: – Return to the lodge for breakfast and rest in the morning at leisure, at your convenient time have lunch and then rest in the afternoon at leisure.
16:00hrs:– Depart on an afternoon game drive.
18:30hrs: – Return to lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.
Option 2: – Picnic: you can exit the Lodge/camp for an optional whole day Game drive with picnic lunch to return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the Lodge/camp.
Alternatively, you can have an optional bush dinner in the wild under the African sky.
Option 3: - Visits to a Masai Manyatta can be arranged between you and the Guide. Another popular
excursionis a romantic hot air balloon trip where you view animals from above and then touch down for an extravagant breakfast in the bush. I would recommend you book this in advance due to limited space.
Day 7: - End of the Safari.
After breakfast depart towards Nairobi arriving in late afternoon and transfer to the airport for a flight home or to your Nairobi location, arrange that with our Guide.
